The dust is gone, the crust is in. Crust skiing on top of the Mesa right now is fantastic. Enjoy it while the fresh snow is still covering those dust layers…
This is the best skiing of the year, go get it!
Warning: you may find yourself spontaneously emitting sounds of glee, such as “yippeeee!” “whooop!” or, my personal favorite, “woot, woot!”
For joy-inducing snow conditions, plan to finish your ski by 11am or so. (That’s just a guesstimate, but realize that early is best and it’s worth getting up early for.)
