Jon will be grooming tomorrow morning at 9 a.m., and will mainly do a few trails in the trees — Sunset, Winslow, Loop 3. He will re-groom again late Friday afternoon for the weekend.
On a grooming note, we received a new groomer for our snowmobiles that will greatly enhance our grooming efforts for next season, particularly at County Line. Doug from Yellowstone Track Systems, trailored our new Ginzugroomer down last Friday and worked with Jon our groomer on demoing it for us — he also spent some time with Jon providing grooming tips using both the snowcat and the snowmobile. Doug is an incredible resource for grooming in that he has spent much of his life designing grooming implements for nordic skiing as well as serving as a grooming advisor for both the Salt Lake and Vancouver Olympics. We plan to bring him back next season for a full day grooming clinic for Al, Jon and myself. Exciting news!
